Jarrell ISD Receives Crime Stoppers Lanyards

Williamson County Crime Stoppers Board member Joe Derrick delivered 50 custom designed lanyards with the Jarrell ISD school colors and logo to Jarrell ISD Transportation director Maria Alvarado for use by the Jarrell bus drivers and the transportation team members. Shown in the photo are several members of the transportation team and the School Resource Officers. The lanyards will allow the bus drivers to attach their identification name tags as well as help publicize the Crime Stoppers message of "See Something, Hear Something, Say Something".
Crime Stoppers at Dell Diamond

Williamson County Crime Stoppers was highlighted at the Round Rock Express ballgame's Community Spotlight event for non-profit organizations sponsored by Thrivent.
Five Officers from the Sheriff's Office and 2 Crime Stoppers Board Members distributed stress relief baseballs, key chain LED flashlights, reusable handbags, and highlighters to Express fans as they entered main gate. Promotional items had the Crime Stoppers logo on them to promote community awareness of the Crime Stoppers organization and it's anonymous tip reporting system.
Included in the pictures are: (L to R) Llorente Navarrette (Board Member), James David (Assistant Chief), Joe Derrick (Board Member), Nora Maxey (Reserve Deputy), Noel Johnson (Deputy), Phillip Anelli (Deputy), and Pat Erickson (Chief Deputy)."

Joe Derrick, WCCS Board member, delivered 15 Crime Stoppers bus decals and a Crime Stoppers parking lot sign to Jarrell ISD transportation director Maria Alvarado and her transportation team on June 18, 2024.
These posters and signs will raise awareness of the importance of school safety within Jarrell ISD, and encourage students to utilize the Crime Stoppers theme of "See Something, Hear Something, Say Something".

Crime Stoppers hosts Fentanyl Awareness meeting

The founder of Texas Against Fentanyl, Stefanie Turner and Williamson County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Heather Vargas presented Fetanyl dangers to area wide law enforcement personnel at their monthly information sharing meeting.
Stefanie formed TXAF.ORG after losing her son Tucker to fentanyl poisoning.

Express Fans received 500 stress baseballs and 500 keychain LED flashlights distributed by Williamson County Sherriff's deputies and Crime Stopper Board Members. A big Thank You to Thrivent for sponsoring the event.

WCCS expresses their gratitude to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Mike Gleason, Chief James Carmona, and Commander Troy Brogden, who helped pass out promotional items to attendees of the Round Rock Express game. WCCS Visits the Hutto Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association

On Tuesday evening, May 11th, Williamson County Crime Stoppers Board Members Tom Clark and Bob Cermak provided an overview of the Crime Stoppers program to members of the Hutto Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, at the Hutto Police Station. We appreciate the invitation and the chance to share the Crime Stoppers mission with the members. It is great to be back out visiting the community.
