On Saturday, June 15, 2024, as folks from the area were celebrating Juneteenth in a gathering at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, unknown person or persons for unknown reasons pulled weapons and fired numerous shots into a group of people. This occurred in the late evening killing two innocent citizens and wounding another 14 innocent people.
Round Rock PD needs assistance to help identify and arrest the person or persons responsible for this horrific incident. Through initial investigation RRPD believes that at least one person involved in the shootings is described as a:
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in a recent theft investigation that occurred at a business in the Hutto, Texas area.
On April 10, 2024, an unidentified male entered Twin Liquors at 5002 Gattis School Rd, Hutto, TX. The suspect proceeded to steal a bottle of D`usse Cognac VSOP by placing and concealing it within his internal jacket pocket. When confronted by the store clerk, the suspect lifted his shirt to reveal a black pistol with an extended magazine.
Description: Light skin black male, mid 20 – early 30 years of age, corn row style haircut, long goatee, nose bridge piercing. Unknown height and weight.
The suspect left by getting in the passenger seat of a light colored 4-door passenger car with alloy rims and possibly no front license plate.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is currently working alongside Georgetown Police Department in their efforts to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for committing numerous criminal mischief offenses. These offenses have occurred at the Williamson County Courthouse, the Republican party headquarters in Georgetown, and Congressman John Carter's field office, all in Georgetown.

Abduction and Sexual Assault

Georgetown Police Department are actively working an investigation involving an abduction and sexual assault that occurred between 12:30 am and 1:30 am, 3/20/2024. Initial reports indicate the abduction happened in the 100 block of W. Valley and N. Main St and the victim was taken to an unidentified location and sexually assaulted.
The victim is a 36-year old, female, and Georgetown resident that stated she was walking to a convenience store when the vehicle stopped, the male driver exited the vehicle, threatened her with a large knife, used zip-ties to bind her wrists, and then forced her into the vehicle. She further provided the assailant drove her to a secluded area, sexually assaulted her, and then drove her back to the location he abducted her and left her.
The male is described as: White male with long red hair, long red beard, and a slender build. No other descriptors were able to be provided.
The vehicle Is described as: Metallic Silver in color with a hatchback, smaller than an SUV

The Hutto Police Department is attempting to locate JACKIE CARDELL SELBY, JR, BM, DOB 07-21-1989, who is wanted on two counts of Indecency with a Child. SELBY is also wanted out of Travis County on a bond revocation for Indecency with a Child.
SELBY is known to drive a silver 2011 Lincoln MKZ with Texas License Plate CYL1567 and a red and black Hayabusa motorcycle, unknown LP.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting which occurred in the Forest North Neighborhood on the night of October 5th, 2023. There was a shooting earlier that day approximately about a mile west of the residential shooting. There was also a shooting in July of 2023 directed at the same residence in the Forest North Neighborhood.
Detectives have reason to believe all 3 of these shootings are related and encourage the public to provide any information about potential suspects.

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — Round Rock police are looking for several people involved with an assault in an H-E-B parking lot near Interstate 35.
The alleged assault happened at 250 University Boulevard around noon on March 12, police said.
Video RRPD released shows two women and three men driving through the parking lot in a red Hyundai Sonata. The two women got out of the car and hit an H-E-B employee near one of the entrances to the store, it shows.
Then, the video shows the women running back to the car and leaving the area. The driver of the vehicle was described as a Hispanic man with visible tattoos, police said.
RRPD said the vehicle was stolen and has since been recovered. It said the car could be connected with other crimes in the Austin area.

On January 11,2023, Taylor PD responded to a several burglaries of businesses in the city of Taylor. Some unknown person or persons made a forced entry into a metal building and removed numerous tools and items.
Then, on January 15,2023 the same business was again burglarized, and more items were taken.
Taylor PD has been able to retrieve an image of at least one suspect. This suspect is believed to be a white male, with a tall/thin build, approximately 35-40 years of age, wearing prescription eyeglasses and appears to have facial hair.

Taylor Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on the evening of December 12, 2022, at 1401 Jones Road, in Taylor, Texas.
Investigators have developed information that implicates ESMERALDA RENEE ALDERETE, aka "ESME", HF, 19 YOA as being involved in the death of the victim. ESMERALDA may no longer have a 'reddish' tint to her hair and most likely will be a more natural darker color.
Taylor PD believes that ALDERETE is still in the local area and requests that anyone who may have information on this homicide, specifically information on the whereabouts of ALDERETE to contact the Williamson County Crime Stoppers.

Police in Georgetown are searching for a man they say fatally shot his estranged wife early Tuesday morning.
It happened at a home in the 2700 block of Gabriel View Drive, in a neighborhood west of Williams Drive. Suspect was driving a green 2020 Toyota Tundra. TX license plate NFW9059
The Georgetown Police Department says they received a 9-1-1 call from a juvenile at around 2:52 a.m. who said Ricardo Quinones had entered the home with a weapon and was holding them hostage.
Police say that while officers were attempting to negotiate with Quinones, he fatally shot his estranged wife and fled the house. The daughter was able to escape the house through a window into police custody.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the murder of 70-year-old Diana Lynn Pier after she was found shot to death in the middle of a road near the rural community of Florence, Texas.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. on August 4, Williamson County deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 4500 block of County Road 245.
When deputies arrived, they found Pier dead in the roadway.
Detectives are looking for information about a small-medium sedan, possibly silver, gray, or charcoal gray, that was seen in the area around the time of the shooting.
