Attempt to ID Suspect - Residential Burglaries
December 19, 2025
STATUS: OPENThe Williamson County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance with any information regarding two burglaries of habitations that occurred on December 09, 2025, and December 11th, 2025; both occurred between 0500 and 0530 hours in the Ronald Reagan/Hwy 29 area. Video Surveillance indicates a dark passenger car (possibly a Nissan Altima), and a white van with paint damage under the passenger side window were possibly involved in both cases. Suspect is a White or Hispanic male of medium build, thick brown hair, and a small brown mustache. He wore a white hoodie, light colored shirt and pants, and white high-top shoes.

Wanted - Agg Sex Asslt of a child

STATUS: WANTEDThe U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is assisting with the fugitive investigation of a Williamson County man wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child that occurred July of 2024.
Williamson County Sheriff’s Office obtained two warrants Oct. 8 for Rutilo Alfonso Renteria, 59, who is alleged of sexually assaulting two juvenile victims.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force – Austin Division to locate and apprehend Renteria, who is a Georgetown resident, born in Mexico.
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, in conjunction with area law enforcement agencies, are actively conducting a fugitive investigation and pursuing leads on the whereabouts of Renteria, who is a known commercial truck driver with ties to the Rio Grande Valley in Mercedes, Texas and Mexico.
Renteria is registered to drive a gray, 2015, Nissan Van, Texas license plate FHB-2648, silver Dodge Charger, Texas license plate RMN-6003, and a red, 2004, Nissan truck, Texas license plate BP6-5413.
Anyone with information on Renteria’s whereabouts is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102 or submit a tip using the USMS Tips app.
4 Yr Old Shot in Williamson County
October 02, 2025
The sheriff's office said a suspect was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service and the WCSO Criminal Investigations Division.
According to the sheriff's office, a call came in at around 9 p.m. Thursday reporting that a child had been shot at a residence in the 15400 block of FM 1325, just outside Round Rock city limits.
Deputies located the injured child and provided medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The child was then taken to a local hospital, where the sheriff's office said they are in stable condition.

Round Rock police responded at around 4:50 a.m. on April 14 to a report of an aggravated robbery at a 7-Eleven at 2801 La Frontera Blvd, just off of SH 45 and I-35.
The suspect fled the scene on foot before the officers got there.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a red-and-blue rain jacket, black pants, Mechanix-style gloves and black Air Jordan 11-style shoes.

Liberty Hill, TX - Vehicle Theft and Gunfire Incident
August 19, 2024
Liberty Hill, Texas – August 17, 2024: In the early hours of Saturday, August 17, 2024, at approximately 2:15 AM, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 200 block of Yellow Senna Place in Liberty Hill. The victim informed authorities that his vehicle had been stolen from his residence and that he began pursuing the suspect(s) toward State Highway 29.
During the pursuit, the suspect(s) fired multiple shots at the victim, striking his vehicle three times. The victim ceased his pursuit after the gunfire.
Deputies responded to the incident and located the stolen vehicle, which was found unoccupied and still running in the 100 block of Jonathan Way. While investigating the scene, deputies observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed on Stonewall Parkway. A traffic stop was conducted, leading to the identification and arrest of six individuals on unrelated charges.
The case has been turned over to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, which will continue to investigate the incident and file the appropriate charges.

Mass Shooting - Round Rock, TX
June 17, 2024
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, as folks from the area were celebrating Juneteenth in a gathering at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, unknown person or persons for unknown reasons pulled weapons and fired numerous shots into a group of people. This occurred in the late evening killing two innocent citizens and wounding another 14 innocent people.
Round Rock PD needs assistance to help identify and arrest the person or persons responsible for this horrific incident. Through initial investigation RRPD believes that at least one person involved in the shootings is described as a:
- Black male
- 5 feet, 7 inches tall
- Thin build
- 19-20 years old
- Hair in short dreads
- Last seen wearing a white hoodie

Theft - Liquor Store - Hutto, TX

STATUS: OPENThe Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in a recent theft investigation that occurred at a business in the Hutto, Texas area.
On April 10, 2024, an unidentified male entered Twin Liquors at 5002 Gattis School Rd, Hutto, TX. The suspect proceeded to steal a bottle of D`usse Cognac VSOP by placing and concealing it within his internal jacket pocket. When confronted by the store clerk, the suspect lifted his shirt to reveal a black pistol with an extended magazine.
Description: Light skin black male, mid 20 – early 30 years of age, corn row style haircut, long goatee, nose bridge piercing. Unknown height and weight.
The suspect left by getting in the passenger seat of a light colored 4-door passenger car with alloy rims and possibly no front license plate.

Vandalism Investigations - Georgetown

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is currently working alongside Georgetown Police Department in their efforts to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for committing numerous criminal mischief offenses. These offenses have occurred at the Williamson County Courthouse, the Republican party headquarters in Georgetown, and Congressman John Carter's field office, all in Georgetown.
The attached photo is of an unknown person of interest along with a suspicious vehicle that law enforcement is seeking to identify related to these investigations.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Georgetown Police Department are urging anyone with any information about any suspects or anyone who may have witnessed or have direct knowledge about any of these incidents to contact either the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office or the Georgetown Police Department.

Georgetown Police Department are actively working an investigation involving an abduction and sexual assault that occurred between 12:30 am and 1:30 am, 3/20/2024. Initial reports indicate the abduction happened in the 100 block of W. Valley and N. Main St and the victim was taken to an unidentified location and sexually assaulted.
The victim is a 36-year old, female, and Georgetown resident that stated she was walking to a convenience store when the vehicle stopped, the male driver exited the vehicle, threatened her with a large knife, used zip-ties to bind her wrists, and then forced her into the vehicle. She further provided the assailant drove her to a secluded area, sexually assaulted her, and then drove her back to the location he abducted her and left her.
The male is described as: White male with long red hair, long red beard, and a slender build. No other descriptors were able to be provided.
The vehicle Is described as: Metallic Silver in color with a hatchback, smaller than an SUV

Hutto PD - Wanted Indecency With a Child

STATUS: WANTEDThe Hutto Police Department is attempting to locate JACKIE CARDELL SELBY, JR, BM, DOB 07-21-1989, who is wanted on two counts of Indecency with a Child. SELBY is also wanted out of Travis County on a bond revocation for Indecency with a Child.
SELBY is known to drive a silver 2011 Lincoln MKZ with Texas License Plate CYL1567 and a red and black Hayabusa motorcycle, unknown LP.

WCSO Seeks Identification of Suspects Involving in Neighborhood Shooting

STATUS: OPENThe Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting which occurred in the Forest North Neighborhood on the night of October 5th, 2023. There was a shooting earlier that day approximately about a mile west of the residential shooting. There was also a shooting in July of 2023 directed at the same residence in the Forest North Neighborhood.
Detectives have reason to believe all 3 of these shootings are related and encourage the public to provide any information about potential suspects.
The suspect vehicle is a light-colored sedan, possibly a silver 2008-2012 Chevrolet Malibu.
Anybody with information about this crime or the identities of any suspects or vehicles involved is encouraged to call Detective Mack with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office at 512-943-1916.
